Wow! I was not expecting such a stupendously visually striking music video. I absolutely love the portrayal of the breakup as a literal physical separation, graphically showing the slow pain and wounds it causes to both sides. It illustrates the hopelessness of a dying relationship and how it’s more beneficial to call it quits and start over that the lyrics describe so well, complementing an already moving song so nicely. I didn’t even watch the teaser for this release, so I had no idea what to expect, but I was blown away with everything. Nice release, OverMe~

Does Scrubb ever come out with a bad song? There’s something so addictingly soothing about their voices and signature style. I also like how the music video gives the song a little more depth, showing that even though there’s a lot of teasing, competition, and headbutting, it’s still a good relationship and both of them enjoy being in it. As someone who banters and plays similar jokes with my husband, I can relate that even though I hate him sometimes (especially when I’m imagining all the ways he might be plotting to get back at me like in this MV haha), he makes my life just right

This is another song that I never looked at the teasers for, so I had no idea what to expect, but. Wow. I wasn’t expecting this. Interesting ambient, haunting sound they chose to portray such feelings as being depressed over a breakup (or perhaps the death of a lover, as depicted in the MV), but I’m not sure I care much for it. The music video also has a very interesting apocalyptic end-of-the-world scenario, but even as a huge fan of the Fallout series, it doesn’t make me like the song any more. Intriguing release, but probably not something I’d personally put on my mp3 player.

What a nice, smooth, easy-listening release for New and Jiew~ Though the lyrics are your average “I-was-waiting-for-my-soulmate-and-finally-found-you” lyrics, it still sounds very nice, and I like how their voices mesh together. The music video is also interesting, telling the story of a 30 year old who had never been in a relationship before, trying everything to meet guys and find “the one”, until she finally met him. I like the encouraging support she got from the online community as well, urging her that she shouldn’t try to be someone else, that age doesn’t mean anything, that she shouldn’t rush into things and force things. Don’t let the long wait discourage you, love will happen when we stop trying to force it

This song really reminds me of the classic Paradox I used to listen to in highschool, both in the sound and the melancholy longing of the lyrics. Paradox has always been a band with a wide range, and one of the few who didn’t change after going major label. The music video is simple but illustrates the song nicely, portraying a frustrated girl angry at her struggles in ballet, but never giving up until she finally achieves her dreams.

The style of the band dressed in white playing while the camera pans around them reminds me of the classic Psycho le Cemu music video for their song “With.” I almost wish Song was wearing a strange, fuzzy, horned monster costume haha.
