Oh, Jah. Another butt-and-boobs R-Siam star with another product-sponsored song creating an awkward sexual innuendo; this time the song and video were clearly sponsored by the not-so-subtle product placement of the Ellse bars, prompting the presumptuous lines about being “delicious” and “tasty.” Well. There’s not much more to comment on, really. It’s a song filled with flirty sexual euphemisms urging the guy to hurry up and flirt with her because she has a million other guys on the back burners. What else is Jah going to sing about? Can’t fault her, though, she knows her body and her sexuality are her best assets, why not play it up to her advantage? She at least never tries to sell herself as anything else, which I can respect. The dancing in the music video is interesting, I can’t decide if I like it or not, but I do know I could do without the camera zooming in on her crotch whenever she says “come and try a bite”. But I hate most of her outfits. I’ve never been a fan of any look with ripped pantyhose or jumpsuits. The basketball leotard was about the best thing she wore, though I did like the permed afro bob she sported with that one a lot. Hypersexualized lyrics aside, I actually kind of like the sound of this song, though. It’s much better than all her previous releases with a catchy country beat, and for once her voice doesn’t make me want to stab forks in my ears. Actually, I’ve willingly listened to this several times now. Keep this sound up, Jah :’D
