This is really beautiful and emotional~ I like how the music video steered the song away from romantic love and made it more touchingly about a child thanking his parents, be it the father who seems to have passed away, or the mother who raised him by herself. Or perhaps it is the mother talking to the child who is growing up? Or perhaps the mother talking to the dead father? Or maybe even the father who has passed on talking to his old family? I feel like the ambiguity makes it relatable and touching from all different view points.
